UW Tacoma: - is an urban-serving university providing access to students in a way that transforms families and communities. OR-URISA: Oregon and Southwest Washington URISA (ORURISA) is a Chapter of the international Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA). ORURISA is a 501.c3 Non-Profit Organization that is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and conducts its business following adopted Chapter Bylaws. The Chapter was founded in 1992 and serves as a forum for geospatial professionals and students to meet, share ideas and encourages the advancement of Geospatial and Open Source technologies.
The Geospatial Enterprise Office (GEO): - coordinates with government agencies to develop and manage geographic information. It communicates about Geographic Information Systems (GIS) issues with users. It guides development of Oregon's GIS data standards. Working together, state, federal, and local governments are improving the geographic information they share. GEO is also the State's point of contact for other organizations about geographic information and GIS. GEO also hosts the Oregon Geospatial Data Clearinghouse, an electronic library of geographic information.
